We received feedback regarding the Day of Awesomeness, Friday, November 8. To clarify, all DCMS students are welcome to join the Step It Up Day of Awesomeness, regardless of whether they participate in the fundraiser. Sorry for any confusion in previous communications. We can't wait to celebrate our fundraising success with the entire school!
What an AMAZING START to our fundraiser!
In just the last 24 hours, hundreds of families jumped into action, sending thousands of emails and texts to friends and family all over the world! We are so proud of how our students are using their AWESOMENESS to make a big impact!
Because of the incredible response, we’re extending the deadline by another 24 hours! If you haven’t had a chance to register and send 10+ emails or texts yet, it’s not too late! Click the link below to join the REVOLUTION of FUN and support our school:
As the weather cools down, the DCMS gardens are starting to bloom again! In the coming weeks, we’ll be giving our garden a little makeover with fresh plants, flowers, and a bit of TLC. We’ll also be trimming up the existing greenery and giving our signs a bright new coat of paint!
If you’d like to help keep our garden beautiful, we could use the following items:
Gardening gloves
Hand shovels
Gift cards (Lowes, Home Depot, or local gardening centers)
Leftover latex paint (if you have any from a recent DIY project!)
Milkweed seeds or plants
Your support would mean the world to us as we make our garden shine!
To donate, you can:

Join Us for Our October DCMS PTO Meeting: Fundraising & Volunteer Updates

Location: DCMS Library
Join us for the DCMS PTO meeting where we’ll discuss support areas for Q4 and Q1, provide updates on fundraising initiatives and goals, and explore volunteer opportunities.
Guess what? Our awesome teachers offer FREE Math tutoring every Wednesday at 6:45AM in room 613! Enter through the west gate by the basketball courts at 6:42AM (Gates close at 6:5AM sharp, so don't be late!). Bus riders can join in at 7:20AM.
This is all about math support so come ready to dive in—no other homework or hanging out until the morning bell!

National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony - November 7
Join us for the National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony on Thursday, November 7, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the DCMS Cafeteria. Families with students in NJHS, please keep an eye out for more details from Ms. Desarno.

If you’d prefer to support us with a direct donation, it’s a great way to help us raise funds for campus improvements, classroom materials, social events, and more. Plus, your donation is 100% tax-deductible!
