Teacher Spotlight: Meet Mr. Beringhaus
PTO: Tell us a little about yourself. Mr. B: I moved to Arizona in 1st grade and attended SUSD schools through 8th grade. I played baseball at Occidental College in Los Angeles and have coached high school baseball in Phoenix for almost 20 years.
PTO: What do you teach and how long have you been at DCMS? Mr. B: This is my 4th year at DCMS and during that time I have taught 6th grade, Accelerated 6th grade and Accelerated 7th grade math.
PTO: Anything else of import happen in the past few years since you've been at DCMS? Mr. B: I’ve also gotten engaged, married and had a little one, James. (!!!
PTO: What are some ways you have used PTO funds for your classroom? Mr. B: I’ve used PTO funds to provide resources to students, create extensions for concepts and tie in real world concepts to the math we are learning in the classroom.

ISI Elite Training is a 50 minute high intensity, low impact strength based workout for all fitness levels. When you "MEET US ON THE TURF" you'll be led by a certified personal trainer which allows a one-on-one experience within a small group setting. We value accountability, energy, results, and fun!

Guess what? Our awesome teachers offer FREE Math tutoring every Wednesday at 6:45AM in room 613! Enter through the west gate by the basketball courts at 6:42AM (Gates close at 6:5AM sharp, so don't be late!). Bus riders can join in at 7:20AM.
This is all about math support so come ready to dive in—no other homework or hanging out until the morning bell!
7th Annual Sisters in STEM Kids Event this Saturday, September 21
Saguaro High's Sisters in STEM invites K-8 students to a hands-on STEM event! From creating electric circuits to interacting with a world-champion robot, this event is packed with exciting activities designed to inspire young minds—especially girls! Join us on Saturday, September 21, from 10AM-12PM at Saguaro High School. Let’s show that science is for everyone!
